Basecamp Hospitality believes in sharing the magic of outdoor experiences. Every person should explore our country’s natural treasures, rich history, and vibrant culture – no matter their skill level. That’s why we created Basecamp Basics, a series of hands-on classes placing you in the center of the outdoor experience, unlocking your potential and opening your eyes to a whole new world of the great outdoors through knowledgeable instructors.
These classes will be offered in 15 of the parks we manage. Your class could take place in a temperate rainforest surrounded by 177ft waterfalls in Oregon, on a lake in the beautiful Idyllwild mountains or in the giant redwoods of Santa Cruz. Let our instructors show you practical and easy step-by-step ways to pitch a tent, cook delicious meals over campfire, E-bike to see the best beach views, how to paint while savoring the serenity of a beautiful lake or how to kayak through the water while enjoying the views of wildflowers blanketing the hillside.
We love the great outdoors and want to share our passions with you. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or an outdoor dreamer… we want to help your next adventure begin.
